As a Financial Crime Reporting Specialist, you’ll play an important role in helping protect Westpac and the community from financial crime. You’ll focus on reviewing complex matters, conducting investigations and preparing reports that support regulatory obligations and strengthen our overall control workplace.
You'll work closely with analysts and stakeholders to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes, sharing your expertise and helping lift capability across the team. Your work will contribute to identifying risks early, improving processes and supporting the broader Financial Crime Surveillance function.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll combine analytical thinking with sound judgement to make decisions and deliver meaningful insights that support compliance and operational improvement. This is a fulltime, 12 month contract role with hybrid working, based in Melbourne, Parramatta or Adelaide.
What do I need?
- 3+ years working in ops teams within financial crime (Essential)
- You’re confident conducting investigations, analysing information and preparing clear, well-structured reports (Essential)
- You understand financial crime risks including AML and can apply this knowledge in a practical, real-world way (Essential)
- You communicate clearly and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
- You’re organised and comfortable managing competing priorities while maintaining high attention to detail
- You enjoy sharing your knowledge, supporting others and contributing to a strong team culture
