Job Description for Data Quality Specialist in Melbourne

Qualifications

n

n
- Must have a tertiary qualification in I.T. or related discipline.
n
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar data quality management role.
n
- Must have working knowledge and practical experience in SQL and associated tools. Experience with relational databases and big data technologies is preferred.
n
- Must have working knowledge of methods and tools used for data profiling and data analysis.
n
- Must be able to interpret business processes and relate them to application workflow and logical and physical data structures.
n
- Must be able to understand business rules and their enforcement in determining data quality outcomes.
n
- Knowledge and experience in industry standard data governance and data management guidelines and practices.
n
- Working knowledge of data visualisation tools to create dashboards and scorecards.
n
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivated with the ability to work in a team as well as take individual responsibility.
n
- Experience in the Health Insurance and Health Services industries is an advantage.
