The Company

Based in Laverton North, our client is a leading manufacturer of custom-designed electrical control power distribution equipment that supplies the defence, medical and mining sectors. Working a 9-day fortnight and monthly BBQ's or lunch provided. This is an excellent prospect to join a fantastic organisation in a modern, clean, state-of-the-art facility that is committed to providing a safe and supportive working environment and continued ongoing learning and development within the company.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Control panel construction
- Assembling of products according to design
- Assembling and testing of switchgear and panel boards




- Ability to understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and engineering drawings

The successful candidate will require the following attributes:

- Electrical trade qualification
- Strong understanding of wiring diagrams and engineering drawings
- Assembling and testing of electrical products
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Demonstrate a positive, proactive and motivated attitude to work
- Physically fit with the ability to work effectively in a multi-skilled environment

Hours & rates:

Day shift hours: 7.00am - 3.55pm, 9-day fortnight

Rate: $47-$49 per hour + overtime + super + discretionary annual bonus
