Carpenter (Full time) Location: Sydney Metropolitan area

Salary $80,000 to $100,000 plus superannuation

Mayflower Building and Construction is a boutique carpentry company delivering high-quality residential and commercial construction services across the Sydney metropolitan area. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and skilled Full time Carpenter to join our expanding team. The successful applicant will work across various construction sites throughout Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

- Study construction drawings and specifications to determine material requirements, dimensions, and installation procedures.
n
- Select, order, and prepare timber and other building materials.
n
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and nail materials according to project specifications.
n
- Construct and erect wall and roof frameworks, install sub-flooring and floorboards, and ensure the accuracy and alignment of structures.
n
- Install fascia panels, roof sheathing,



exterior wall cladding, door frames, and window frames.
n
- Assemble timber structures and fittings ready for installation.
n
- Carry out general carpentry duties while maintaining high standards of workmanship and workplace safety.
n
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

Successful candidate must have

n

n
- AQF Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent
n
- A longer duration Australian visa with full work rights.
n
- Minimum 1-3 Years of work experience in Australia in Carpentry role with strong reference from pervious employers
n
- Must have white card
n
- Ability to solve problems with technical skills
n
- Effective communication skills
n
- Willingness travel across various sites in Sydney Metropolitan
