Site Hospitality is a progressive group making waves on the Gold Coast's hospitality landscape, led by visionary leader, Dave Galvin. Starting his consultancy firm in 2016, Dave has led transformative projects for esteemed establishments across Australia. Since taking the hospitality reign on its own in 2018, SITE launched its first owned and operated venue, Crafty's Sports Bar, and hasn't looked back since.

With 2023 being the year of rapid expansion—opening four venues in 12 months, including the newly hatted kōst bar and grill, and finishing with the launch of the Southern Gold Coast's new gem, Kirra Beach House—Site Hospitality now proudly operates five distinct brands. Our mission is simple: to deliver unique, experience-led venues that enhance the Gold Coast hospitality scene for locals and visitors alike.

About the Role

n

We are on the lookout for a Chef de Partie to join our team at Kost Bar and Grill. Reporting to the Head Chef you will be responsible for the quality assured execution of timely food offerings in the appointed kitchen section, in accordance with the parameters set by the Head Chef.

In this role you will:

n

n
- Responsible for day to day operations of appointed kitchen section;
n




- Assisting in the execution of effective stock management including but not limited to; ordering, receipting, storing (including best practice cellar management) and stock rotation;
n
- Supporting effective people practices including, but not limited to; the training and development of junior chefs on the relevant section;
n
- Assisting in the effective development (WH&S;, technology use, product knowledge, job related task performance) of team members to meet and exceed The Boathouse Group's objectives through individual and team performance;

About You

n

You are an experienced, passionate chef who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments. With strong technical skills and a genuine love for food, you'll bring creativity, leadership, and a calm head under pressure. You'll also:

n

- Hold a relevant trade qualification (Commercial Cookery Cert III, or equivalent).
n
- Be a team leader who is motivating and engaging;
n
- Show resilience and the ability to manage situation and constant change;
n
- Demonstrate a high level of organisation and prioritisation of tasks in line with requirements.
