We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, loves learning, and wants to be part of a supportive team where they can develop real clinical and optical skills. Optical experience is highly regarded, but for the right person, training can absolutely be provided.
n
For the right applicant, this opportunity can be either full‐time or part‐time. Days are adaptable; availability on Thursdays and some Saturdays would be preferred, with Saturday hours being 9:00 am–1:00 pm only.

About The Role
n
This is a diverse and hands‐on role within a full‐scope optometry practice, offering exposure to a broad and varied clinical caseload.
n
Your day may include:
n
n
- Assisting optometrists with patient consultations
n
- Taking patient histories and discussing symptoms
n
- Performing clinical testing including OCT scans, retinal photography, corneal topography,
visual fields, tonometry and more
n
- Assisting with contact lens fittings and education across soft, rigid, hybrid and scleral lenses
n
- Helping patients select frames and lenses suited to their lifestyle and needs
n
- Dispensing, fitting and adjusting spectacles
n
- Supporting patient flow and ensuring an outstanding patient experience from start to finish
n
n
No two days are the same, and training will be provided for the right person.
