Workfast is looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our Meadowbrook team.

- $36 / hr + penalties
- Ongoing work available
- No weekend work

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials across the warehouse. You will play a crucial, hands-on part in daily operations, ensuring that receipting, general warehousing, and dispatch targets are met efficiently while maintaining strict inventory integrity and safety standards.

Key Duties:

- Safely operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Efficiently load and unload trucks, containers, and delivery vehicles.
- Assist with the receipting of incoming goods, including checking for damages and verifying purchase orders (POs).
- Perform accurate cycle counting and assist in maintaining an organized stores inventory.
- Complete pick-and-pack activities and prepare customer orders to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Ensure all outgoing goods meet client requirements, including basic quality inspections and completing accompanying documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized,



and secure working environment by adhering to site maintenance and housekeeping plans.
- Strictly adhere to all OHS policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace.
- Collaborate with the broader warehouse team to ensure smooth operational workflow.

What We’re Looking For:

- Current and valid LF Forklift ticket is essential.
- Proven experience operating forklifts within a fast-paced manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Experience utilizing RF scanners or basic Warehouse Management Systems (ERP/EPICOR experience is a bonus).
- Well-developed safety awareness and a strong orientation to process.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to work well within a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in manual handling and inventory management.
