Remuneration: $43.62 to $57.14 per hour + superannuation + salary packaging

Hours Per Week: 12 hours per week

As a Rotational Pharmacist, you’ll work across a variety of clinical areas, providing expert medication advice and high-quality pharmaceutical care. You’ll work closely with patients, carers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure medicines are used safely, effectively and appropriately, helping to achieve the best possible outcomes for every patient.

You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive Pharmacy team where professionalism, respect and teamwork are valued. About you

We’re looking for a motivated and patient-focused pharmacist who is ready to bring their clinical expertise, teamwork and commitment to quality care to Maitland Hospital.

In this role, you’ll bring:

- Strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to safe, effective and appropriate use of medicines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear medication advice to patients, carers and healthcare professionals.
- A collaborative approach, working confidently with multidisciplinary teams to optimise medication management and improve patient outcomes.
- A commitment to continuous improvement, with an interest in clinical governance, quality improvement and developing better ways of delivering pharmacy services.
- Leadership and mentoring skills, supporting pharmacy technicians,



students and colleagues to work safely and effectively.
- Adaptability and initiative, with the flexibility to work across different clinical areas and participate in weekend, overtime and on-call rosters as required.

Requirements

Proof of eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration agency, Pharmacy. Must be able to demonstrate fulfilment of the criteria for grade 2 pharmacist in accordance with the Health Employees' Pharmacists (State) Award
