You will play a critical role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring each job is completed with attention to detail and efficiency. Your expertise will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the business's overall reputation.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults across a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs in line with manufacturer specifications
- Conduct engine, transmission, brake, and suspension repairs
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately
- Inspect vehicles and provide clear, professional assessments of required work
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient workflow
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment

Skills and Experience

- Relevant trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics (Certificate III or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a motor mechanic in a workshop environment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Experience with modern diagnostic equipment and systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Effective communication skills
- Valid driver’s licence

Desirable Attributes





- Experience with European vehicles (BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz)
- Air conditioning (A/C) certification
- Hybrid and electric vehicle experience (advantageous)
- Roadworthy inspection certification (where applicable)
