Cape Lambert | Day Crew | Residential Opportunity

We are currently seeking experienced Mobile Plant Operators (Civil) with proven Grader and Loader experience to join the Rio Tinto Team onDay Crew at Cape Lambert.

n

This is an excellent prospect for local residents to secure a long-term role working across Cape Lambert Operations, completing road maintenance activities and supporting a range of ad hoc civil works and small projects.

n

What's on Offer?

- $53.00 - $63.00 per hour flat rate + superannuation
n
- Day shift only roster (5:5:4)
n
- 12 hour shifts (6am - 6pm)
n
- Immediate start available
n
- Opportunity to work within Rio Tinto operations
n
- Potential pathway to a permanent Rio Tinto role after 12 months for high-performing employees
n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Operating graders and loaders safely and efficiently
n
- Road construction and maintenance activities
n
- Supporting civil maintenance and project works across site
n
- Completing pre-start inspections and equipment checks
n
- Maintaining a strong commitment to site safety standards
n

n

About You

n

n
- Demonstrated experience operating Graders and Loaders




n
- Previous experience within civil construction and road maintenance
n
- Strong safety focus and a positive team attitude
n
- Ability to work autonomously and deliver quality outcomes
n
- Full Australian working rights
n

n

Residential Requirement - Local Applicants Only

This is NOT a FIFO position.

Applicants must currently reside and have permanent accommodation in one of the following locations:
