Centric's project teams are intentionally lean, collaborative, and hands‐on. Unlike larger GCs where early‐career builders may get stuck in a narrow lane, Centric gives Project Managers exposure to the full construction lifecycle: estimating, preconstruction, client communication, subcontractor coordination, execution, closeout, and long‐term relationship management.

The company is looking for a developing Project Manager who is passionate about construction, eager to grow, and ready to take on increasing ownership with mentorship from experienced senior leaders.

The Opportunity

n

This is an ideal role for someone with roughly 2–5 years of post‐college commercial construction experience who wants to become a true all‐around builder. You may currently be a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, Estimator, or junior PM who has been exposed to commercial construction but wants broader ownership and a clearer path into full project management.

You will support projects from early planning through completion while learning Centric's relationship-based approach to construction. The right person will be organized, hungry, coachable, and excited to grow into a PM who can eventually run projects independently.

What You'll Do

n

n
- Support commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
n
- Assist with estimating, budgeting, scope review, buyout, and subcontractor coordination.
n
- Help manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement logs, schedules, and project documentation.
n
- Coordinate with owners,



architects, subcontractors, consultants, and internal field teams.
n
- Attend project meetings and help drive follow‐up on action items.
n
- Support project cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting.
n
- Help maintain strong client relationships through transparent communication and reliable execution.
n
- Spend time both in the Brisbane office and on Bay Area jobsites.
n
- Learn Centric's full‐cycle PM model, including estimating, preconstruction, execution, and client management.
n
- Grow into independent project ownership over time.

What We're Looking For

n

n
- 2–5+ years of experience in commercial construction, ideally with a general contractor.
n
- Experience as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, Junior Project Manager, or Estimator.
n
- Exposure to commercial interiors, hospitality, restaurants, hotels, renovations, tenant improvements, adaptive reuse, or complex occupied‐site work is a plus.
n
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
n
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly.
n
- Comfortable working onsite in Brisbane and traveling to Bay Area jobsites.
n
- Passion for construction and a desire to build a long‐term career with a local Bay Area GC.
n
- Local Bay Area roots or a strong reason to be in the Bay Area long term preferred.
n
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred, but not required with relevant experience.
