About the Role
n
We currently have a vacancy for a passionate and experienced Multisensory Language/Maths Tutor to join the team. You'll play a vital role, potentially helping students with dyslexia, attention deficit disorder, dyscalculia, or autism develop essential language and mathematics skills.

- Design and deliver engaging, multisensory tutoring sessions
n
- Assess student skill levels and develop individualised learning plans
n
- Utilise evidence-based teaching methods and learning resources
n
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate with parents/caregivers
n
- Collaborate with our team to share best practices and improve our tutoring programs
n
n
About You
n
Along with a strong work ethic and a passionate commitment to providing tailored evidence based teaching practices you'll have/be:
n
n
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education, Linguistics, Mathematics or a related field
n
- Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident
n
- Demonstrated experience in one-on-one or small group tutoring, particularly with students experiencing learning difficulties
n
- Strong knowledge of language development, literacy instruction and mathematical concepts
n
- Excellent communication and proficiency in written and spoken English and great interpersonal skills
n
- Creativity and adaptability to cater to diverse learning styles and needs
n
- Working with Children Check and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Comfortable using a laptop with email, Microsoft Word, Google Drive, Zoom and Internet applications
n
