Job Summary

MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR – Field Services WA

n

REMA TIP TOP is currently looking for hardworking, experienced Conveyor Maintenance Supervisors to join our Field Services team.

n

Responsibilities

n

n
- The health, safety and well‐being of all operational personnel within the area of authority.
n
- Driving continuous improvement in safety and the provision of quality maintenance services whilst supporting the Site Manager.
n
- Identifying and resolving potential safety issues.
n
- Planning and executing works to ensure they are completed within the scheduled time frame and taking corrective action should significant deviations occur.
n
- Leading, coaching and mentoring team members to deliver on plan and build a high‐performing team.
n
- Working to achieve productivity, annual revenue and profitability targets.
n
- Supervising service employees, support departments and subcontractors to ensure their duties are carried out in accordance with the Business and customer objectives.
n
- Reporting issues relating to the delivery of scope of works to the relevant Area Manager.
n
- Building and maintaining positive client relationships throughout the contractual life cycle via appropriate methods such as email, telephone and face‐to‐face interactions.
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Relevant mechanical and/or belt splicing background and extensive experience in all facets of conveyor maintenance.
n
- Strong commitment to building solid and honest relationships with staff and clients alike.
n
- A proven track record in supervision, with a robust emphasis on effective people performance management.
n
- Ability to make and plan strategic decisions that support the interests of the Company.
n




- A total commitment to maintaining and improving Health and Safety standards and systems.
n
- Excellent communication skills coupled with an enthusiastic outgoing personality as you are hosted at the client site and participate in the full operations of the site.
n
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage paperwork and reporting requirements to meet client and Company deadlines.
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general comfort with technology.
n
- Customer service approach towards interacting with colleagues and clients.
n
- Understanding of Mining in WA and Customer Requirements.
n
- Highly organised and able to work under pressure, with a broad range of skills to provide flexible support.
n
- English fluency.
n
- Proficiency in SAP: Notification creation, Work order creation, Stock ordering, and time confirmations.
n
- 5+ years of experience in the mining and associated industry (desirable).
n
- Accredited Certification in Supervision/frontline Management (desirable).
n
