Housekeeping Supervisor - Wynberg HouseLocation: New Farm, BrisbaneEmployment Type: Permanent Part time | Tuesday to Friday | 8:00 am to 3:00 pm (26 hrs/week) | Flexible start time
n The Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane positively impacts hundreds of thousands of Queenslanders every week through its 98 parishes, 146 schools, and over 190 service centres, including childcare, aged care, and domestic violence assistance. Our Technology Solutions team plays a critical role in supporting these services, ensuring high-quality IT operations across the Archdiocese.
n About Wynberg House
n Wynberg House, located in New Farm, is a residence and hospitality venue for senior Church leaders and distinguished guests of the Archdiocese of Brisbane. Renowned for its role as a house of hospitality, Wynberg regularly hosts formal and informal gatherings, events, and community engagement activities that strengthen relationships within the Church and the broader community.
n About The Role
n We are seeking an experienced and reliable Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the housekeeping team and ensure Wynberg House is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hospitality.
n In This Role, You Will

n

n
- Supervise a small team of domestic staff and delegate daily tasks.
n
- Oversee general housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and maintaining living and communal areas.
n




- Manage laundry services, including washing, ironing, and organising dry cleaning when required.
n
- Support event preparations and assist the Chef/Cook during special functions.
n
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety guidelines.
n

About You We Are Looking For Someone Who Isnn
- Experienced - previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is essential.
n
- Organised - able to balance daily routines with special events and changing priorities.
n
- Hands-on - comfortable supervising a small team while working alongside them.
n
- Discreet and professional - respectful of the residence and its guests.
n

Qualifications & Skills:nn
- Knowledge of cleaning agents, materials, and safe handling practices.
n
- Ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment.
n
- Current driver's licence preferred.
n
