We are seeking a FIFO Senior Project Engineer to start ASAP for a Project in the Northern Territory.

n

Job Description

n

This Oil and Gas construction project is located in a remote part of the Northern Territory. You will be working 11-hour days and be working a 3+1 roster. You will need to bring with you a solutions focused mind set and have the ability to deliver the following responsibilities:

n

- Deliverengineering and technical support to project teams tofacilitate effective delivery of projects.
n
- Review drawings and specifications and execute the scope of work in accordance with these.
n
- Prepare MTO's and RFQ packs for material procurement and subcontractor engagement.
n
- Review and understand project budgets and schedules and assist with identifying project variations.
n
- Oversee project deliverables for site execution including ITP's, ITR's andwork packs.
n
- Assist with development of technical documentation,



execution methodologies and schedules.
n
- Liaise with client representatives on project commitments and assist resolving technical queries.
n
- Work in accordance with the Company's Core Values.
n
- Lead projects from award through to close out.
n
- Prepare and maintain project documentation and deliverables
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Engineering background, Tertiary Degree qualified in Australia University or international recognized equivalent. Mechanical preferred but role experience in other disciplines considered.
n
- Oil & Gas industry experience preferable
n
- Practical field experience
n
- Site experience on a construction site previously highly regarded
n
- Experience in subcontractor management
n
- Demonstrated comprehensive skill, knowledge, and experience of compressor station SMP construction.
n
- White Card
n
- Reciprocating compressor construction and assembly experience highly regarded including:n n
- Mechanical installation of pipe rack modules
n
- Mechanical installation and alignment of rotating equipment
n
- Flange closure, NDT, hydrotesting works and documentation
n
- B31.3 piping code for site installation and fabrication
n
- Installation of tanks and facilities
n
