The Company
I am working withwell-established and growing organisation seeking an experienced and proactive Business Administration Lead to support day-to-day operations and help deliver high-quality administrative services across the business. Offering a collaborative and supportive working environment, this role presents an opportunity to work across a broad range of business functions, supporting employees, leaders, projects, office operations, and internal systems.
The Role
This is a part time role, where you will be responsible for coordinating the administration function and ensuring the smooth running of daily business operations. This is a hands-on role that combines administration team supervision, project support, travel coordination, office management, and systems administration. You will act as a key point of contact for the wider team, helping teams stay organised, supported, and focused on delivering business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting and supervising the day-to-day activities of the administration team.
- Coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements.
- Providing administrative support for business projects and initiatives.
- Managing office operations, facilities, suppliers, and office resources.
- Coordinating meetings, events, and team activities.
- Preparing reports, presentations, and business documentation.
- Supporting onboarding and office logistics for recent employees.
- Managing user access, system setup and deactivation for new starters and departing employees.
- Providing first-line support for basic IT and systems-related queries.
- Liaising with external IT providers and internal stakeholders to resolve system issues.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and efficiencies.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a senior administration, office coordination, team lead, or supervisory position.
- Strong administration, organisational, and multitasking skills.
- Experience managing travel bookings and coordinating schedules.
- Experience supporting projects and coordinating activities across teams.
- Exposure to systems administration, user access management, and employee onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Confidence acting as the first point of contact for basic IT and systems support.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
