About the role

n

We're looking for a reliable Forklift Operator who understands that doing the basics well, every day, is what keeps a site running.

n

This is a hands-on yard role. You'll be on the forklift most of the day, moving product, loading trucks, and keeping stock flowing safely and on time.

n

This is a full time role working 8-hour shift(8:00am – 4:00pm), with some overtime and occasional Saturday work during peak periods such as stocktakes. Onsite parking is provided.

n

What you'll be doing:

n

Reporting to theManufacturingManager, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of stock across the yard and warehouse, with a strong focus on loading customer deliveries.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Safely load trucks and unload containers, minimising stock damage
n
- Put away, pick, and assemble stock accurately using SAP
n
- Plan daily loads to meet Chain of Responsibility requirements and ensure all shipments are correctly processed and documented
n
- Operate forklifts and mobile equipment safely at all times
n
- Keep the yard and stock areas clean, organised, and compliant
n
- Support inventory activities including cycle counts and scrapping
n
- Work collaboratively with drivers and internal teams, contributing to safety and continuous improvement
n

About you:

You're someone who turns up, works safely, and pulls their weight. You don't cut corners, you look out for your teammates,



and you take pride in keeping the yard organised.

- Current Forklift Licence - Essential
n
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a yard or warehouse environment
n
- Experience across different industries (manufacturing, logistics, building products)
n
- SAP exposure
n
- First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain – allowance provided)
n
- Hands-on, proactive, and willing to learn & adapt
n
- Reliable, flexible with start times, and able to work cooperatively and respectfully with others
n
- Honest, dependable, and strongly safety-focused in how you work
n
