I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a growing infrastructure consultancy who are looking to appoint a Cost Manager to support the delivery of a major water infrastructure programme in the Midlands. Our client is a specialist programme delivery and advisory consultancy. They deliver strategic PMO, planning and controls, and digital transformation services, supporting the delivery of complex, high-value programmes.

The Role
n
Working closely with the client and project delivery teams, you'll be responsible for providing commercial and cost management support across a portfolio of infrastructure projects.

You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered within budget, managing costs,
identifying commercial risks and supporting commercial governance throughout the project lifecycle.

- Cost planning, reporting and forecasting.
n
- Managing project budgets and cashflow.
n
- Administering change control and compensation events.
n
- Supporting NEC3/NEC4 contract administration.
n
- Monitoring commercial performance and identifying risks and opportunities.
n
- Working closely with project teams, clients and supply chain partners.
n
- Producing regular commercial reports and forecasts.
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
- Experience as a Cost Manager, Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager.
n
- Strong understanding of NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
n
- Infrastructure experience is essential, with water sector experience beneficial but not essential.
n
- Comfortable working in a client-facing environment.
n
- Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
n
