Job Overview

n

This role will be responsible for regulatory compliance of PepsiCo food & beverage products, driving regulatory excellence for the region to support business growth across a diverse product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a proficient technical skill set relevant to ingredients, technologies and processes.

n

Responsibilities

n

n
- Execute compliance assessments of products against ANZ regulations: raw material, ingredient and finished product specifications, on‐pack labelling information, artworks, packaging materials for local innovation and import/export.
n
- Support integration of digital systems relevant to RA.
n




- Engage and collaborate with R&D; teams to support innovations and import/export.
n
- Provide regulatory advice to support product/packaging claims.
n
- Track regulatory developments, run impact assessments and implement new or revised regulatory guidelines and protocols.
n
- Identify regulatory unlocks & critical pathways for successful product launches.
n
- Inform key stakeholders of any upcoming regulatory changes.
n
- Represent ANZ RA in key project meetings, technical processes and cross‐functional forums.
n
- Participate in regional/sector RA meetings and provide key updates from time‐to‐time.
n

Qualifications

n

n
- University degree (food science/technology, nutrition, chemistry, biology)
n
- Regulatory knowledge of Food Standards Australia New Zealand
n
- 3-5 years in food/beverage industry
n
- Experience in product development, food safety/quality or regulatory affairs. Preferred: strong technical background
n
- Very well organized
n
- Detail oriented and punctual
n
- Flexible attitude to work, results orientated
n
- Fluency in written and verbal English
n
- Proactive, self‐starter, team player
