n We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Poultry Farm Manager to oversee the full operational management of our poultry farm. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong poultry husbandry knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to maintain high standards of animal welfare, farm hygiene, and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Manage and run the entire farm operation, ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant daily workflows.
n
- Be on call daily while birds are on-site, responding promptly to animal health, equipment or environmental issues.
n
- Oversee all aspects of raising poultry for chicken meat production, maintaining optimal welfare conditions.
n
- Manage the daily husbandry requirements of chickens, including feeding, health checks, lighting, ventilation, and shed conditions.
n
- Operate and monitor computerised farming systems, production data, and ordering platforms.
n
- Prepare and deliver weekly reports and production updates to the producer when required.
n
- Direct, supervise, and maintain general farming activities, ensuring sheds, farming equipment, and infrastructure are kept in excellent order.
n




- Ensure farm roads, fencing, water systems, and utilities are maintained to a high standard at all times.
n
- Hire contractors, supervise staff and workers, and ensure protected and efficient workflow.
n
- Coordinate with the producer for placement of day-old chicks and collection of grown birds, following production schedules.
n
- Manage and maintain the farm's financial and administrative records.
n

Experience Requirements

- Minimum 2 years' experience in managing a poultry farm (essential).
n
- Solid background and demonstrated knowledge of the poultry industry and farming practices.
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Relevant Diploma-level qualification in agriculture, poultry production, agribusiness, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
