The Prospect:
n Randstad are partnered with a busy contractor delivering FRP packages to Tier 1 clients on the North East Link Project.
n
This role will suit a Site Engineer coming from the head contractor / sub contractor that has key experience delivering big build concrete structures packages at least $15 million+.
n
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be a point of contact on site to ensure smooth progress through various stages of construction. You will oversee the following core duties:
n Your Role & Responsibilities:
n
n
- Support all quality reviews and compliance conducting ITP's (pre-pour, during pour, post-pour) & NCR's.
n
- Monitor progress of works and support the PM to track costs.
n
- Attending daily toolbox meetings with the Tier 1 representatives to coordinate shared site resources like tower cranes or site access ramps.
n
- Writing and enforcing Safe Work Method Statements specifically for high-risk FRP activities.
n
- Measuring the volume of work done (e.g., tonnes of steel fixed, m3 of concrete poured) to ensure the sub-contractor gets paid correctly.
n
- Managing site layouts so that people aren't working directly under active concrete buckets or rebar lifts.
n
- Administer project documentation, including progress reports and cost tracking with the PM/Supervisor support.
n
- Proactively identify risk and solve challenges that arise on-site.
n

Site Engineer - Major Infrastructure (Formwork)

What Our Client is Looking For:
n
n
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably within the civil or infrastructure sector on major FRP structures packages in Australia is essential
n
- Current RIW card
n
- Strong technical knowledge of concrete structures, temporary structures, retaining walls and piling construction.
n
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
n
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach.
n
- A firm commitment to safety and quality execution.
n
n
