Refurbishment and Relocation Coordinator

Evolve WA is seeking a Refurbishment and Relocation coordinator to work 15 hours per week from August to November helping coordinate Evolve WA's office renovation and moving process.

Roles and Responsibilities

n

Refurbishment Coordination: To coordinate Evolve WA's office renovation and moving process.

n

n
- Create renovation schedules based on the provided floorplan.
n
- Source trade quotes for the required renovations.
n
- Arrange removal and re-installation of Evolve-owned items.
n
- Schedule and oversee contractors.
n
- Organise any other requirements to make the new office move‐in ready.
n
- Liaise with Evolve staff, business owners, suppliers and other stakeholders as required.
n

Move coordination: Plan and execute Evolve WA's staff and assets relocation.

n

- Create task schedules for the move project.
n
- Source quotes for the required relocation services, including moving exterior signage, kitchen cabinetry and whitegoods, IT server, audio‐visual and computer systems, portable wall panels, printer/photocopier, and removalists.
n




- Plan and coordinate a move date in late October, including overseeing packing and unpacking.
n
- Oversee clearing of Southport St property including final painting and cleaning.
n
- Oversee move into Bennett St, including placement of furniture and equipment.
n

- Coordinate relocation budget.
n
- Attend team meetings.
n
- Keep staff informed of progress and requirements.
n
- Maintain records and schedules as required.
n

Selection Criteria

n

Essential

n

n
- Experience with coordinating an office relocation or comparable refurbishment projects, including sourcing quotes and liaising with tradespeople.
n
- Organised approach with solid coordination and scheduling skills and great attention to detail.
n
- Sound computer literacy and strong skills with the Microsoft Office suite.
n
- Friendly personality and excellent communication skills for liaising with diverse people.
n

- Existing reliable trade contacts would be helpful.
n
- Studies in a relevant area are optional but well regarded.
n
- Access to your own car would be helpful for moving between locations.
