DRILLER'S OFFSIDER

Looking for a Driller's Offsider ready to earn a real start in mining through drilling. This is a FIFO role with roster options, based on sites across the country.
n
Drilling is hard, dirty, remote and physically demanding — one of the toughest jobs in the resources industry. The right candidate will have the attitude and work ethic to match, and we'll make sure they find a crew that backs them.

What you'll be doing
n
n
- Assisting the driller with safe, efficient drilling operations
n
- Manual handling of rods, tools, sample bags,
core trays and core samples
n
- Cleaning, greasing, and maintaining equipment, keeping the rig area tidy
n
- Loading/unloading gear and supporting rig moves, set-up and pack-down
n
- Completing pre-start checks and following site safety systems and paperwork
n
- Working as part of a crew where reliability and teamwork matter every day
n
n

What you'll need

- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
n
- Manual C Class Licence
n
- Strong fitness and resilience
n
- Safety-first attitude and ability to work in remote, challenging conditions
n
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical + Drug & Alcohol test
n
n
Highly regarded
n
n
- Labour-intensive background (construction, farming, trades, military, labouring)
n
- White Card
n
- HR / HR-B licence
n
