Aspart of the Aqua Energy leadership team, the Aquatics Operations Supervisorplays a key role in creating safe, well-maintained and welcoming aquaticenvironments for our community.

Thisongoing 0.8 EFT position offers flexibility to progress to full-time hoursbased on the preferences of the successful candidate.

Thisrole would suit an organised and confident leader who enjoys supporting people,maintaining high operational standards and making sound decisions in a dynamicenvironment where safety, service and community outcomes matter.

Leadingand supporting our lifeguard team, you'll oversee the day-to-day operation ofaquatic facilities, ensuring high standards of safety, water quality, riskmanagement and facility presentation are maintained at all times. You'llsupport staff through coaching, training and development while fostering aproactive culture focused on safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Workingclosely with other supervisors and operational teams, you'll help coordinateaquatic operations, support seasonal pool services, contribute to emergencyresponse readiness and ensure facilities remain safe, compliant and enjoyablefor the community.

Inthis role, you will:

- Overseethe day-to-day operation of aquatic facilities, ensuring safe, efficientand customer-focused service delivery.
- Lead,support and develop the lifeguard team through coaching, mentoring,training and regular feedback.
- Coordinatestaff rosters and operational requirements to ensure service levels aremaintained.
- Monitorpool operations, water quality, risk controls and operational proceduresto maintain compliance and safe aquatic environments.
- Supportfacility presentation, maintenance coordination and continuous improvementof aquatic operational practices.
- Promotea positive culture of safety, inclusion, accountability and customerservice across the aquatic services team.

About You





- Experience in aquatics, leisure, recreation or a similarcustomer-focused operational environment.
- Demonstrated experience supervising, supporting or developingstaff within a team environment.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinatecompeting priorities, rosters and operational requirements.
- A sound understanding of safety, risk management, compliancerequirements and the importance of accurate operational records and procedures.
- Well-developed communication skills and the ability to buildpositive working relationships with staff, contractors, user groups and thecommunity.
- A practical, proactive approach with the ability to exercise soundjudgement and respond effectively to operational and emergency situations.
