Senior Psychologist Project Officer: NAVIGATE Transition Coaching

The position of Senior Psychologist Project Officer: NAVIGATE will, through collaborative partnerships, will provide high level clinical and problem-solving support, including expert planning and co-ordination of the delivery of a multi-session transition coaching program for adolescents with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and their families who are patients of Queensland Paediatric Rehabilitation Service (QPRS).

About the Team

The Queensland Paediatric Rehabilitation Service, Children's Health Queensland, is a Specialist Rehabilitation Medicine Service which operates under a statewide model and includes:

- Neurorehabilitation Programs
- Limb Difference Program
- Cerebral Palsy Health (CP Health)
- Queensland Cerebral Palsy and Rehabilitation Research Centre

About the Role

In this role you will coach and support others to deliver for children, young people and families (Leader of Others) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:

Clinical / Technical

- Independently manage an allocated research and clinical workload, including data collection, Transition Coaching, facilitation and individual provision of the transition coaching program, in accordance with established clinical and departmental protocols, policies and procedures; utilising evidence-based practice and ethical standards, demonstrating a high level of independence, clinical judgement and complex decision making in relation to delivery of the NAVIGATE: Transition Coaching program.
- Deliver high level clinical psychology/neuropsychology services to adolescents with acquired brain injury (ABI) and their families in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
- Demonstrate high level clinical knowledge and skill,



as part of the multidisciplinary team, based on experience and understanding of the management of adolescents requiring rehabilitation services following their ABI.
