The Truck Mechanic is responsible for serving and repairing as per repair order instructions within the service department. The truck mechanic is to promote customer satisfaction to the required dealerstandards. They also will oversee the work of any apprentice technicianassigned to him.

The Job:
- Perform work as per the repair order instructions
- Advise of any additional work that is required to the workshop foreman
- Document all work performed including cause and correctionand recommend any work not carried out during service andrepair.
- Ensure that the customer vehicle is left as they found it(including cleanliness, movement of the seat, radio, Bluetoothand mirror adjustments)
- Supervision of any apprentice that you are assigned
- Appropriately and safely operate all tools and equipment asmandated through safety training. Report any safety,equipment defects or malfunction issues tomanagement immediately.
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
- Attend all dealership and service department meetings and onlinetraining when requested.
- Keep workshop area neat and clean and be able to account forall dealership-owned tools at all times.

- Trade Certificate
- Drivers Licenses equivalent to role, car, light duty, truck and agriculture
