The Seed Coating Operator is responsible for the setup and operation of the seed treating machines. Ensures all treating jobs are completed accurately, to required quality standards and within established timeframes. They are expected to perform all tasks in accordance with Company Policy & Procedures.

Key responsibilities

- Operates the treating equipment to achieve optimum efficiency.
- Verifies correct recipes, processes and quality standards are maintained.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work instructions.
- Monitor equipment reporting any faults or issues to their supervisor.
- Achieves maximum production while maintaining quality and completeness of the material produced.
- Verify all information recorded on the Treating Job reports is accurate and complete.
- Conduct clean down of equipment and verify same on Job Card.
- Ensure raw materials & finished product is not exposed to adverse weather conditions.




- Maintain a clean and secure work environment.
- Eensures Quality Control for all product that leaves the Treating Plant.

About you

- Demonstrated experience in following work instructions and housekeeping.
- Established communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Promotes quality, accuracy, timeliness, reliability and thoroughness of work performed.
- Understanding of accurate reporting requirements and implications with regards to accurate records.
- Ability to stand for long periods of times and lift approximately 25kgs safely.
- Strong approach to workplace safety and policies.
- Regular and dependable attendance to work.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Work effectively, non-defensively and non-attacking with a variety of personalities.
