Responsibilities

- Provide acute, multidisciplinary treatment to patients presenting with acute mental health issues that cannot be treated in the community.
n
- Manage a 24‐bed locked adult inpatient unit with an additional 3 intensive care area (ICA) beds.
n
- Work within a team comprising 2 consultants and 4 registrars.
n
- Contribute to a cross‐border service; as required, consultants may be rostered across all mental health service sites.
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
- RANZCP supervisor certification required.
n
- ECT certification required.
