The Role:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated Junior Financial Administrator to join a growing property business based in Rose Bay.
Working closely with the finance team, this role will provide hands-on exposure across invoicing, reconciliations, financial reporting and general administration.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their finance career who is confident with numbers, highly organised and looking to develop their skills within a professional and supportive property environment.
Responsibilities:
- Review, process and code supplier invoices
- Coordinate invoice approvals and assist with payment processing
- Assist with bank and account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records, spreadsheets and databases
- Support the preparation of weekly and monthly financial reports
- Assist with budgeting and general financial reporting
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding invoice queries
- Provide day-to-day financial and administrative support to the wider property team
- Assist with maintaining accurate records across internal systems
- Support improvements to financial and administrative processes
The Candidate:
- Previous experience in a Finance Administrator, Accounts Assistant, Accounts Officer or similar administrative role and Xero experience would be advantageous
- Exposure to property or real estate would be highly regarded but is not essential
- Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail
- Some exposure to accounts payable, invoicing, reconciliations or financial reporting
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning new systems
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, willing-to-learn attitude
