Langlands Restaurant & Bar is modern in nature but at the same time, rustic in character. Our kitchen provides Victorian sourced produce, married with a beverage list that will be ever changing. Langlands Restaurant's focus is fresh, colourful, sustainable and approachable.

The Role:

n

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Barista to join our Food & Beverage team. You'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our restaurant and bar by crafting exceptional coffee, delivering warm and genuine service, and creating memorable guest experiences.

n

As the face behind every cup, you'll bring energy, consistency, and a passion for specialty coffee while building meaningful connections with our guests and supporting the wider team.

n

Some of the responsibilities include:

n

Prepare high-quality hot and cold beverages, with a focus on specialty coffee and consistent presentation.

n

Deliver friendly, professional customer service and respond to guest enquiries and feedback.

n

Maintain coffee equipment and workstations in line with HACCP, FIFO, and cleanliness standards.

n





Assist with Food & Beverage service, including setting, clearing, and resetting tables, and waiter duties as required.

n

Support the wider Food & Beverage team with a positive, flexible approach.

n

Manage high-volume coffee service, including events of 200+ coffees, while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

n

About you:

n

n
- Minimum 2 years' barista experience and previous waiter or food service experience.
n
- Ability to manage high-volume service in a fast-paced workplace.
n
- Strong knowledge of Melbourne coffee culture and latte art.
n
- Current Victorian RSA Certificate.
n
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
n
- Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to support the wider Food & Beverage team.
n
- The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
