The Opportunity

Rare senior leadership opportunity within a highly respected, research-driven pharmaceutical organisation

- Critical role shaping reimbursement, pricing and health policy strategy across Australia and New Zealand
n
- Member of the ANZ Senior Leadership Team with significant influence at local, regional and global levels
n
- Lead a high-performing Market Access, Health Systems and Patient Advocacy team
n
- Work across a robust and diverse pipeline spanning cardio-renal-metabolic, immunology, oncology, respiratory and eye health
n
- Impending launches across multiple markets
n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead and execute market access and pricing strategies to achieve optimal reimbursement outcomes
n
- Oversee PBAC submissions, pricing strategy, price disclosure and long-term forecasting
n
- Provide strategic health economics, policy and government affairs advice to senior leadership
n
- Represent the organisation on industry committees and with key external stakeholders
n
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across Medical, Commercial, Government Affairs and Global teams
n
- Develop and lead a team of 9 Market Access, Health Systems and Patient Advocacy professionals
n
- Input into global value,



pricing and clinical development strategies to reflect local payer needs

About You

n

n
- Extensive experience in pharmaceutical Market Access within Australia and NZ
n
- Proven track record of successful reimbursement, pricing and policy outcomes
n
- Strong leadership capability with experience leading and developing high-performing teams
n
- Deep understanding of, payer environments and government decision-making processes across Australia and New Zealand
n
- Highly collaborative, strategic and commercially astute
n
- Confident engaging with senior internal stakeholders, government bodies and industry groups
n

n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Significant leadership experience in Market Access / Healthcare Affairs
n
- Tertiary qualification in health economics, epidemiology, public health, biostatistics or related field
n
- Postgraduate qualification (Masters level or higher) preferred
n
- Strong analytical capability, including pricing and economic modelling
n
- Exceptional communication, influencing and negotiation skills
n
- High ethical standards and strong alignment with values-based leadership
n
- Experience in the Primary Care market will be an advantage, along with Specialty Care
n

n
