UGL is seeking an experienced SMP Quality Inspector to support a major LNG Turnaround at Wheatstone. This is a 4â€month contract on a 2:2 roster. Commencing ASAP you will be responsible for providing critical support during the execution phases of a major LNG turnaround. This role is ideally suited to a quality inspector with strong LNG/TAR experience. The role is required to provide excellence in the delivery of assurance, systems & process, to ensure safe and timely scope completion in compliance with UGL and Chevron requirements. Contractual compliance and achievement of the project's desired Quality outcomes are key deliverables of this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and verify work packs to ensure accuracy, completion and compliance with standards and specifications.

- Verify work meets required acceptance criteria, including compliance with industry best practice, client specifications and Australian Standards.

- Support in conducting audits, inspections, and quality reporting as required.

- Assist with identification, investigation, and advice regarding discipline specific NCRs.
n
- Assist with management of hazardous area deliverables.
n
- Effectively liaise with multiple stakeholders.
n
- Provide technical guidance and training to execution teams.
n
- Liaise with the client and subâ€contractors on all aspects of quality and develop good working relationships with Chevron, other contractors, subcontractors and UGL Team Members.

- Manage and schedule quality activities as per the inspection plans.
n
- Resolve dayâ€toâ€day challenges and inform of quality incidents that may present a threat to the project's desired outcomes.

- Ensure all quality reporting is issued on time to the Client, Project and Site Leadership.
n
- Provide input to and review upcoming scopes of work to ensure quality delivery within all phases from design to completion.
n
- Review Quality trends and instigate Quality improvement initiatives.
n
- Manage the completions process including signâ€off of all Inspection & Test Records (ITR's).

Qualifications & Experience
n
n
- Proven experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within Oil & Gas or major projects.
n
- Strong experience building Hot Work Job Packs.
n
- CSWIP certification (mandatory).
n
- Certificate 10 Welding Supervisor.
n
- Commissioning and systems completion experience.
n
- Strong knowledge of industry codes, standards, and best practices.
n
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, including reporting and data analysis.
n
- Ability to operate effectively in a fastâ€paced, highâ€pressure environment.
n
