About the opportunity

We are seeking two educators to join this highly regarded community-managed service in East Melbourne. One position is based in theNursery, while the other is within theToddlerprogram.
n
With every room staffed above ratio, educators have the time, support and resources to build meaningful relationships with children and deliver exceptional early childhood education.

About the role

- Build secure, meaningful relationships with children and families
n
- Support children's learning through intentional teaching and play
n
- Contribute to high-quality planning, documentation and assessment
n
- Work collaboratively within an experienced and supportive team
n
- Maintain solid knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and Child Protected Standards
n
- Participate in reflective practice and continuous improvement
n
n
Essential requirements
n
To be considered, you will have:
n
n
- Previous experience working within acommunity-managed not-for-profit early childhood service(strongly preferred)
n
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Careorbe an experienced Certificate III educator committed to commencing your Diploma
n
- Minimumtwo years' experienceworking in a long day care environment.
n
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standard and Child Safe Standards
n
- High-quality planning and documentation skills
n
- A collaborative, professional and child-focused approach
n
- Current Working with Children Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain), Child Safety certificates and First Aid.
