The Role

This full‐time Pump Workshop Service Technician role with XYLEM in Kemps Creek is an exciting opportunity to join a leading provider of water solutions. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a range of water and wastewater equipment. If you have a mechanical mindset and enjoy hands‐on work, this is a great chance to be part of a skilled team maintaining and repairing Xylem equipment, including Flygt and Godwin pump units.

Responsibilities

n
- Perform routine and emergency assessments, servicing, and repairs on pumps, rental fleet, both on‐site and in the service workshop.
n
- Clean, strip, and overhaul customer pump sets and products.
n
- Read, interpret, and apply technical drawings and instructions.
n
- Inspect and test products before dispatch.
n
- Provide clear and accurate advice to colleagues and customers on service, workshop, and product‐related issues.
n
- Maintain detailed documentation and reports on all work undertaken.

About You

n

n
- Proven mechanical aptitude and ideally a relevant trade qualification as a fitter, electrician, or other relevant trade qualification.
n




- Strong problem‐solving and diagnostic skills to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues.
n
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‐technical stakeholders.
n
- Commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant regulations.
