Commencing in August 2026 we have an opportunity for Security Guards to join our workforce and play a key role in supporting the effective and efficient management of properties across Stockland's national portfolio, with multiple positions available to support Stockland - Hervey Bay Town Centre.

n

Roster flexibility is required, including availability to work a variety of rotating shifts including weekdays, evenings and weekends.

n

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes for our client and our communities.

n

Responsibilities

n

n
- Monitor premises and conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and security.
n
- Control site access and manage visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
n
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
n
- Provide general assistance and maintain a visible, approachable presence.
n
- Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance issues.
n
- Maintain accurate records, follow procedures, and liaise with relevant services when required.
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Certificate II (mandatory)



or Certificate III in Security (desirable).
n
- Current First Aid Certificate with CPR (mandatory).
n
- Working with Children's Check (mandatory).
n
- Experience monitoring CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
n
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and concerns.
n
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and report-writing skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with a good understanding of safety procedures.
