We're looking for friendly, reliable, and compassionate Disability Support Workers (DSWs) who are passionate about supporting participants with community access. Every day is different—you might be accompanying someone to appointments, enjoying a coffee at their favourite café, going shopping, attending local events, exploring parks, participating in hobbies, or supporting them to achieve their personal goals within the community.

About the Role
n
As a Disability Support Worker, you'll make a meaningful difference by supporting participants to engage with their local community and achieve their NDIS goals.
n
Your duties may include:
n
n
- Supporting participants to attend appointments.
n
- Accompanying participants to cafés, shopping centres, parks, libraries, and community events.
n
- Assisting with grocery shopping and everyday errands.
n
- Supporting recreational activities, hobbies, and social outings.
n
- Encouraging confidence, independence, and social participation.
n
- Providing companionship and meaningful community engagement.
n
- Assisting participants to achieve their individual NDIS goals through person-centred support.
n
n
Every participant is unique, making each day rewarding and different.
n
What You'll Need
n
n
- An active ABN (or willingness to obtain one).
n
- Australian working rights.
n
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent).
n
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
n
- Current National Police Check.
n
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR.
n
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You
n
- A current driver's licence and a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle, as community access support involves transporting participants to appointments and activities.
n
