Team Leader – Parks & Gardens / Grounds Maintenance Western Sydney Eastern Suburbs Starting Rate: $33 - $35 per hour + Super Company Vehicle, Phone, PPE & Uniform Provided

Are you an experienced team leader with a passion for horticulture, grounds maintenance, and leading crews to deliver high-quality outdoor spaces? We are seeking motivated Team Leaders to join our growing team across Western Sydney and the Eastern Suburbs.

About the Role

As a Team Leader, you will supervise and work alongside a small crew undertaking a variety of horticultural and grounds maintenance activities. You'll be responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while leading by example in the field.

Key Responsibilities

- Leading and supervising maintenance crews
- Coordinating daily work schedules and site activities
- Maintaining parks, gardens, open spaces, and landscaped areas
- Operating horticultural equipment and tools safely
- Conducting planting, pruning, mowing, edging, and general grounds maintenance




- Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and quality standards
- Liaising with supervisors, clients, and team members

Requirements

- Certificate III in Horticulture, Parks & Gardens, or equivalent OR 5+ years' experience as a Team Leader in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture
- Current Driver's Licence
- Valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain one
- Clean Police Check
- Solid leadership and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and manage a team in outdoor environments
