A rare opportunity to progress into one of Australia's fastest growing listed organisations as a Senior Financial Accountant from the Big 4

n

Due to exceptional growth and operational expansion we have an amazing opportunity for a CA qualified Big 4 finance professional to join one of Australia's employers of choice in a role focused on Accounting Review and Advisory, with preparation done in another department.

n

This role joins a well-established and extremely supportive team, which still has two of the previous holders of the position in the current team, post promotion which is a great sign of the potential career development opportunities and their strong reputation for retaining top talent.

The role will include the following responsibilities:

n

n
- Co-ordinate the financial reporting process
n
- Liaise with external auditors on any issues
n
- Report to the management committees on financial reporting matters
n
- Provide technical advice with respect to the various funds and provide up to date reporting on implications of changes.
n
- Preparation of accounting papers to the board members
n
- Work across different functional teams and influence change strategies as well as drive improvements.
n
- Project management
n
- Ensure deadlines are met on timely basis
n
- Create and maintain accounting procedures documentation
n
- Contribute in scoping, designing and developing efficiencies and improvements
n

n





To be considered for this role you must have completed your CA and have between 3-5 years' experience working in the big 4. You will also need to have excellent communication skills and have experience auditing large ASX listed organisations, preferably with banking, financial services or superannuation

n

This role is offered with an outstanding salary package for a first time move, with an additional 20% bonus on top of your salary based on company and personal performance.

n
