Our client, an independent Federal Government agency responsible for implementing and administering the National Disability Insurance Scheme, require the services of a Program / Portfolio Manager.
Duties of the Program / Portfolio Manager.
- Lead the strategic management of ICT projects & initiatives within the Technology Services Division;
- Develop & maintain the ICT project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic goals & objectives;
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, & risk management;
- Establish & maintain strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders, including business units, vendors, & partners;
- Develop & implement governance structures & processes to ensure project & portfolio compliance with relevant policies & processes;
- Overcome cross‑project dependencies & champion the portfolio in forums;
- Prepare & deliver periodic reports & executive briefs on the status & performance of the portfolio.
Skills and Experience Required
- Demonstrated minimum 5 years’ experience leading teams;
- Demonstrated minimum 5 years’ experience as a senior Project/Program Manager;
- Experience working in Government or providing services to Government agency;
- Demonstrated strong communication skills for collaboration with various stakeholders;
- The ability to convey complex technical information in a clear & concise manner is crucial to this role;
- Solid team leadership skills to build & lead a cohesive & skilled team.
