- 10‐week periods delivered over 4 terms per year

Skills

Passion for online teaching and specialist knowledge to teach in one of the following fields:

- Business & Law
n
- Creative Arts, Design and Humanities
n
- Education, Behavioural and Social Sciences
n
- Engineering and Information Technology
n
- Health and/or Science
n
n
Core Responsibilities
n
n
- Undertake online teaching as part of the AUO teaching team
n
- Consult, facilitate discussions, mark assessments, and provide feedback to students
n
- Implement approaches that maximise the student experience and learning outcomes
n
- Provide academic support, mentoring and advice to students
n
- Act as the first point of response/contact in managing student issues or complaints
n
n
Essential Skills and Experience
n
n
- Minimum bachelor's degree and relevant professional/industry work experience (10‐week courses)
n
- Minimum master's or PhD (6‐week courses)
n
- Ability to undertake a range of teaching duties in an online workplace
n
- Ability to actively engage and educate a diverse student group
n
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills
n
- Ability to use the necessary digital techniques and tools for effective online teaching
n
- Available to work outside of normal working hours, including weekends
n
n
