Key Position Tasks:

n

We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to contribute to the overall success of MBV by managing the day-to-day financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

n

n
- Prepare any post month-end accounting journals, including accruals, revenue recognition and other standing and ad hoc entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements
n
- Support payment processing, liaise with creditors and debtors, manage reconciliations and set up new supplier accounts
n
- Ensure compliance with financial, tax, and corporate obligations, including the calculation and submission of FBT, GST, BAS, and other ATO requirements within specified deadlines
n
- Provide technical advice on financial management and accounting policies to internal and external stakeholders
n
- Liaise with external auditors and assist in preliminary and year-end audit procedures
n

Key Skills, Attributes and Experience:

n

n
- Degree and CA or CPA qualifications
n
- Experience with financial management systems and solutions such as Concur, Netsuite and Microsoft Dynamics is desirable
n
- Experience managing direct reports/AP or AR is desirable
n
