We're hiring a BDR in Sydney (preference) to be the first conversation a prospect has with one of our clients. Your job is to start meaningful conversations with decision‐makers, qualify them, and book the meetings that turn into revenue.
n
What you'll do
n
n
- Generate and qualify leads across multiple channels — phone, LinkedIn, and email working together.
n
- Pick up the phone. Cold calling is core to this role, so you need to genuinely enjoy starting conversations with people who weren't expecting your call.
n
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects.
n
- Book qualified sales meetings for our clients' teams and follow up with discipline.
n
- Learn a real methodology — how to open, how to handle the first objection, how to move a prospect from interested to booked. Every call is recorded and coached, so you'll know exactly what's working and get better fast.
n
n
What you'll gain
n
n
- Learn directly from a team with decades of enterprise sales experience.
n
- Build skills and sales knowledge that transfer across any industry, wherever your career takes you next.
n
- Be part of a hungry, fun team that genuinely enjoys the work.
n
- Strong rewards for the outcomes you deliver, your results are recognised and paid for.
n
n
Who we're looking for
n
We hire for attitude over CV. The qualities below matter more than years of experience:
n
n
- Hungry. You want to be genuinely great at sales, not just employed in it.
n
- Resilient. A "no" is information you use, not a setback you dwell on.
n
- Confident on the phone. This is non‐negotiable — outbound calling is at the heart of the job.
n
- A strong communicator, written and verbal, who can build rapport quickly.
n
- Self‐motivated and organised, with a results‐driven mindset.
n
- Coachable — you take feedback and apply it the same day.
n
n
Nice to have (but not required)
n
n
- Some exposure to inside sales, lead generation or business development.
n
- An understanding of the SaaS or B2B world.
n
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales methodologies.
n
n
The setup
n
n
- Operates on Australian Eastern business hours (AEST/AEDT).
n
- Hybrid working, based in Sydney, NSW or across Australia.
n
- Managed on results, with a explicit path from junior BDR into closing roles.
n
- The tools and coaching to actually be good at this.
n
n
If this sounds like you, apply with a short note on why you'd be great at it.
