We're looking for an Oral Health Therapist (OHT) to join our team at Class 1 Orthodontics. Whether you're already working in orthodontics or coming from general dental and ready to specialise, this role offers a clear, supported pathway into a high-performing specialist setting.

You'll work closely with our Orthodontist as a key clinical team member, contributing to high-quality treatment outcomes and a consistently high-quality patient experience.
n
This is a multi-location role based primarily in Rockingham, with travel to our West Perth and Busselton clinics as needed.

What you'll be doing:
n
You'll play an active role across the orthodontic patient journey, including:
n
n
- Taking diagnostic records, scans, impressions, and imaging.
n
- Assisting with issuing fixed appliances, adjustment appointments and debanding procedures.
n
- Supporting clear aligner treatment workflows, including bonding/removal of attachments, monitoring patient progression and IPR.
n
- Supporting the Orthodontist with Phase 1 treatment, retention, and emergency appointments, as well as Phase 2 debands and bracket removal.
n
- Providing clear,
supportive patient education on oral hygiene and treatment compliance.
n
- Monitoring treatment progress and escalating clinical concerns when needed.
n
- Maintaining accurate, compliant clinical records.
n
- Upholding strict infection control and safety standards.
n
- Supporting smooth, efficient daily clinical flow in a quick‐paced specialist environment
n
n
You'll also work closely with the Orthodontist and wider team to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care across every stage of treatment.

What you'll bring

- Current AHPRA registration as an Oral Health Therapist
n
- Confidence working in a structured, fast-paced clinical environment
n
- Strong communication skills with a genuine patient-first approach
n
- High attention to detail and strong clinical documentation habits
n
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when required
n
- Motivation to grow and develop specialist orthodontic skills
n
- Previous experience in orthodontics and with digital imaging or radiography systems is a plus.
