THE OPPORTUNITY

n

An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate and growth focused leader to take ownership of the performance and operations of multiple retail stores and services (including car seat installations) across Sydney and Inner Sydney.

n

Reporting directly to the Southern Regional Manager, this role plays a critical part in driving sales performance, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and ensuring consistent operational excellence across the region. Due to the nature of the role, a full Australian driver licence is required, with regular travel between stores.

n

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced retail leader who brings strong operational capability, a hands-on leadership style, and a genuine passion for the baby goods industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

n

Sales & Profitability

n

n
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed area sales targets.
n
- Identify trends and opportunities for growth and improvement.
n
- Work closely with Store Managers to optimise sales and profitability.
n

n

Financial Management

n

n
- Management of the area budget, ensuring financial goals are met.
n
- Analyse financial reports and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
n

n

Operations

n

n
- Oversee inventory management to ensure stock levels are appropriate and losses are minimised.
n
- Implement and monitor compliance with company policies and procedures.
n

n

Team Management & Development

n

n
- Recruit, train,



and develop Store Managers to build a high-performing team.
n
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback.
n

n

Customer Experience

n

n
- Ensure a consistent and superior customer experience across all stores.
n
- Address customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
n
- Review customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service.
n

n

Services Management

n

n
- Oversee the provision of additional services including but not limited to car seat installation, personalised appointments, product hire and cleaning.
n
- Ensure key performance metrics are achieved, including volume, revenue, costs, conversion rates, utilisation and customer satisfaction.
n

Compliance and Safety

n

n
- Ensure all stores comply with health and safety regulations.
n

n

ABOUT YOU

n

n
- You have a driver's license & the ability to travel regularly to stores across Inner NSW
n
- You have a minimum of 5 years' experience in retail management, with a passion for the baby goods industry.
n
- You're a natural born leader with the ability to lead with passion, focus and empathy, whilst being proficient in managing and resolving conflicts among staff and customers.
n
- You will have extensive retail operations experience, with expertise in implementing sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
n




- You're customer focused & committed to providing exceptional customer service and improving the overall customer experience.
n
- You have strong financial acumen with prior experience in developing and managing budgets to meet financial goals.
n
- You have great interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and persuasively.

- You're a strategic thinker, with strong understanding and awareness of the market.

- You're a problem solver, with the ability to find innovative solutions to an array of challenges.

- You have a great ability to manage time and manage multiple conflicting priorities simultaneously.
