n We're seeking an exceptional Senior IT Support Engineer for our site located in Dandenong. In our fulfillment centers, your expertise will directly impact the technology backbone that enables millions of customer deliveries daily. This role offers the perfect blend of technical challenges and opportunity, ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex problems while inspiring technical excellence in others.
n As our Senior IT Support Engineer, no two days are the same at Amazon, which makes this an exciting place to work. You can expect to troubleshoot disruptive IT incidents one day and come up with new processes that make our IT systems better the next. You'll also spend time training and mentoring your colleagues, giving you the opportunity to see your team develop and your career grow.
n Key job responsibilities

- Architect and implement sophisticated network infrastructure solutions.
n
- Lead and actively participate in technical project implementation such as Network stack modernization.
n
- Provide expert-level resolution for complex technical challenges while maintaining system reliability, including Network outages and performance issues.
n




- Establish and enforce technical best practices while mentoring team members and driving innovation through Network automation initiatives and Cross-regional collaboration.
n
- Own and manage critical network and system configurations across AU wide.
n
- Spearhead incident response and business continuity efforts while managing critical infrastructure configurations and ensuring optimal performance metrics.
n
- Collaborate on global technical initiatives like increasing remote resolution.
n

Basic Qualificationsnn
- 3+ years of enterprise IT experience with proven technical expertise.
n
- Comprehensive knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs).
n
- Robust background in implementing network security solutions.
n
- Hands-on Linux systems administration expertise.
n
- Extensive Windows Server environment experience.
n
- Practical experience with Cisco enterprise equipment.
n
- Experience managing mission-critical infrastructure.
n
- Flexibility for shift work and on-call responsibilities.
n

Preferred Qualificationsnn
- Current technical certifications (CCNA, CCNP).
n
- Advanced Linux system administration capabilities.
n
- Expert-level networking skills
n
- Hands-on enterprise wireless network management.
n
- Experience in large-scale operations environments.

- Demonstrated history of technical innovations.

- Track record of successful team mentorship.
