Due to continued growth and site expansion, Sedgman is seeking experienced CHPP Operator Maintainers with either an Electrical or Mechanical background.

n

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Production Superintendent, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the CHPP while supporting plant performance and reliability targets.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Operating the CHPP in accordance with site procedures and production targets.
n
- Conducting routine inspections and identifying equipment defects.
n
- Performing breakdown maintenance and supporting planned maintenance activities.
n
- Monitoring plant performance and taking corrective action where required.
n
- Clearing blockages from chutes, pumps, screens,



crushers, conveyors, sumps and associated plant equipment.
n
- Operating mobile equipment safely around fixed plant and stockpile areas.
n
- Contributing to a solid safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
n

About You:

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- An Australian recognised Electrical or Mechanical trade qualification.
n
- Previous experience in mining, minerals processing or heavy industry.
n
- The ability to work a rotating day and night shift roster.
n
- A strong commitment to safety, teamwork and reliability.
n
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
n
- Supervisor Training (S123) highly regarded but not essential.
n
