Preferred Experience
n
Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in Essential Safety Measures auditing or building compliance are preferred.
n
Required Qualifications (or equivalent)
n
n
- Diploma of Building Surveying (minimum)
n
- Advanced Diploma of Building Surveying
n
n
As an ESM Auditor, you will assess a wide range of building types—including warehouses, offices, retail spaces, schools, and large industrial facilities.
n
Inspections will include:
n
n
- Annual Audits (AESMR)
n
- Exit Door and Paths of Travel inspections
n
- Passive Fire Rating Audits and Reports
n
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Identifying non‐compliances with the BCA and relevant Australian Standards
n
- Preparing clear, detailed audit reports using our asset management software, Uptick
n
- Liaising with clients in a professional and supportive manner
n
- Providing technical advice to assist clients
n
n
As part of our team structure,
our bookings department schedules all of your allocated tasks more then a month in advance—allowing you to stay focused on delivering quality audits while still being part of a well‐coordinated team.

- Tech‐savvy and eager to learn - Experience using Uptick advantageous
n
- Enthusiastic, self‐motivated, and reliable
n
- Strong communicator with a cooperative mindset
n
- Able to work both independently and within a team environment
n
- Solid understanding of the NCC, BCA, and relevant Australian Standards
n
- Hold a valid Victorian driver's licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
n
- Willing to obtain (or already hold) a Working With Children Check and Police Check
n
- Willing and able to travel across metro Melbourne and regional Victoria (including occasional overnight stays) - no interstate travel required.
n
- Australian citizenship is required
n
