Job Description
MTC has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to join our IT Team located In our Head Office situated in Marrickville .
n
Reporting to the BI Manager, the Business Intelligence Analyst will design, develop, and maintain data solutions that enable actionable insights across the organisation. The key responsibilities of this role include:
n

- Develop and deliver reports, dashboards, and data visualisations using SQL, Excel, and Python
n
- Analyse data to provide actionable insights into organisational performance
n
- Support forecasting, trend analysis, and "what‐if" scenarios
n
- Design, build, and maintain datasets to enable ongoing analytics and future AI initiatives
n
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate reporting requirements
n
- Maintain and enhance data warehouse structures, datasets, and capabilities
n
- Integrate and analyse data from internal systems and external data providers
n
- Support and manage the existing portfolio of reports and dashboards
n
- Contribute to the organisation-wide data and analytics strategy
n
- Perform ad hoc analysis and other duties as required
n
n
About You
n
To succeed in this role, you will have:
n
n
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
n
- At least 3 years' experience in data or business intelligence roles
n
- Robust skills in SQL and working with databases
n
- Confident Excel user for analysis and reporting
n
- Experience building reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
n
- Familiar with data integration and ETL processes
n
- Experience working with Salesforce data and basic SOQL querying
n
- Comfortable working with both cloud and on‐premise systems
n
- Able to work with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
n
- Strong problem‐solving and analytical skills
n
- Communicates complex information clearly in plain English
n
- Self‐motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
n
