A popular Hotel in Melbourne's CBD is looking for a qualified and experienced candidate for the position of Duty Manager.

Full time - 38 hours per week

Salary - $90K plus super

Duties to include:

- Oversee daily hotel operations across front office, food and beverage, accommodation and guest services.
- Act as the senior manager on duty and be the main contact for guest concerns or emergencies.
- Ensure excellent guest service, promptly resolving complaints and service issues.
- Supervise, support and coordinate staff across relevant departments.
- Conduct shift handovers, briefings and daily operational checks.
- Monitor hotel presentation, cleanliness, maintenance and safety standards.
- Handle guest arrivals, departures, room issues, payments and service recovery where needed.
- Ensure compliance with RSA, WHS, food safety, licensing and hotel policies.
- Manage incidents, security matters, emergency procedures and accurate incident reporting.
- Assist with staff rostering, training and performance supervision.
- Monitor cash handling, takings, stock and operational costs.
- Liaise with management, suppliers and contractors to keep operations running smoothly.
