The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has built a solid foundation in motor claims and is ready to broaden their experience and career prospects.

You’ll start by getting stuck into the work, processing claims, managing the details, communicating with clients and insurers and learning the business from the ground up.

As your capability grows, so will your responsibilities.

You’ll be exposed to more complex claims, broader insurance concepts, commercial claims and the operational side of running an effective claims function.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll initially be hands‑on across the claims process, including:

- Managing and processing motor insurance and other insurance claims from lodgement through to resolution.
- Communicating with clients throughout the claims journey.
- Liaising with insurers, assessors, repairers and other stakeholders.
- Reviewing claim documentation and ensuring claims are progressed efficiently.
- Managing claim updates, follow‑ups and administration.
- Developing an understanding of policy coverage and claims requirements.
- Gaining exposure to a range of motor claims, including basic theft claims.
- Supporting the General Manager with day‑to‑day claims operations.
- Learning and contributing to improved claims processes and client experiences.
- Gradually taking on greater responsibility as your knowledge and confidence develops.
- Working closely with the General Manager to develop your technical, commercial and leadership capability.

This is a role where you’ll learn by doing. You’ll get your hands dirty, understand the fundamentals and build the depth of knowledge that will ultimately set you up for leadership.

About You

We’re looking for someone with the right attitude, ambition and willingness to learn just as much as technical experience.

You’ll ideally bring:

- 3–4 years' experience within motor insurance, preferably with hands‑on claims processing experience.
- A solid understanding of the motor claims lifecycle.
- Experience managing claims from lodgement through to resolution.
- Exposure to basic theft claims would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organised.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Confidence dealing with insurers, assessors, repairers and clients.
- A genuine desire to build a long‑term career in insurance.
- A self‑starter mentality — you see something that needs doing and get on with it.
- A positive,

- A willingness to learn, ask questions and take on feedback.
